Performance Opportunities Build Confident Musicians

Every student of the studio has a variety of performance opportunities to
participate in throughout the year. The studio offers two recitals which take place in December and June of each year. These recitals are for friends and families to celebrate the progress of their favorite student(s).

STUDIO RECITALS – The Studio holds two recitals during the academic year – one in December and one in June. These recitals are for friends and family and all students are encouraged to participate.

Performance
Parties

These are informal performances held in the studio or on a virtual platform throughout the year. Students “practice performing” in a relaxed setting with their peers.

Area Recitals
and Festivals

Students can participate in juried recitals and festivals sponsored by local music teacher organizations. These recitals and festivals are held throughout the year.

Competitions and Examinations

Students are prepared for and encouraged to participate in the Dennis Alexander Piano Festival and Competition, the Minnesota Music Teacher Association (MMTA)-sponsored contests, Ensemble Festivals, and Theory and Piano Examinations.

B♯
Club

The B♯ Club is a time for Adult students to get together and share the music they love to play with other adults in a supportive and encouraging environment. The day and time are flexible. Coffee and refreshments are served.
